What is tablet salt?
Tablet salt is purified rock or evaporated salt, pressed into regular tablets, usually 25 mm in diameter. It is intended exclusively for water softening systems based on ion exchange - both in domestic and industrial installations.
How does a water softener work?
The softener removes calcium and magnesium ions from the water, which are responsible for its hardness. The ion exchange resin bed binds these ions, and during the regeneration process, a concentrated salt solution (brine) flushes them into the sewage system. Tablet salt is this regenerative medium.
Why does the quality of tablet salt matter?
NaCl purity above 99.5% - less deposits in the bed and longer device life.
Minimal dusting - high-quality tablets do not crumble and do not pollute the salt chamber.
Regular dimensions - facilitate dosing and prevent blocking of the tank.
Industrial applications:
Industrial plants with technological requirements regarding water hardness.
Hotels, hospitals and catering facilities.
Industrial laundries and beverage production plants.
Heat and power plants and boiler rooms (protection against scale).
