Bentonite for drilling, foundry and civil works
Swelling clay with a wide spec range. The grade that works in a drill mud is not the grade a foundry will take.

Bentonite is sold under one name and a dozen behaviours. Sodium or calcium base, montmorillonite content, particle size and activation decide whether a lot is a drilling mud, a binder or a seal.
Tell us the use
We do not quote “bentonite” without the application. Drilling, foundry green sand, civil sealing or a chemical process each has its own test list. Packing is usually bags or big bags; moisture in transit is the usual enemy.
