Fertilizer is a regulated cargo. A plant can produce a clean lot and the shipment can still stop if the destination does not have the right licences, safety data and transport class.
Start with the destination
Before we talk price, we need the product (for example ammonium nitrate), the nitrogen content, the form (prill or granule), the packing and the country of import. US and EU rules differ. Some grades need extra notifications.
- Grade and N-P-K if it is a blend
- Safety data sheet and analysis
- Packing that the carrier will accept
- Season and discharge window
