Tablet salt for industrial water softening

Softening plants fail more often from dirty or irregular salt than from the resin itself. Tablets that crumble too fast, or contain insolubles, leave brine that the valve and the bed do not like.

What buyers usually require

For domestic and industrial ion-exchange units the working reference in Europe is often DIN EN 973 Type A, with NaCl around 99.5% or higher. Tablets should dissolve at a predictable rate and stay intact in the brine tank.
